The Shamrock Shield was developed to counter the excessive heat emitted by the exhaust, rear cylinder and oil tank, improving the rider's comfort.  Shamrockride.com builds the Shamrock Shield heat deflector out of original Harley vinyl to ensure a perfect match to the seat.  The inner core of the shield contains a special heat reflective foil material.  The shield installs in minutes and requires no modifications to the motorcycle.   Custom shields are now available with conchos, studs and embroidered patches.  The shield fits all baggers and sportster including slim models with stock exhaust and seat.
